Benvenuto amici! Welcome to my blog, friends! I’m so glad you’re here! :)

Let me tell you a little bit about this site: Musica Aeterna is Latin for “music forever.” Music has been a part of my life since I started piano when I was 9, and it will be my life forever. I left piano for flute and band at the age of 11, and I haven’t looked back since. I graduated high school as Drum Major and President of the band, and majored in music education at the University of Houston, where I’ve been an alumni since December 2015. :)

So, as a new and young teacher, I’ve dedicated this blog to my reflections, muses, and stories that I’ll encounter throughout my career as a music educator. I’ll share my thoughts on certain subjects, some of my the adventures in the band hall, and any tips/advice that I think may be relevant to teaching (like fashion, lesson plans, etc.). I’m also up for any questions or suggestions, so make sure you keep checking back for updates!

Anyways, that’s the basics of it. I’m also a big traveler, so if you want to stay updated with any big trips I take, then I’ll post them here, too. :) If you’d like to see my cat pictures, otter videos, or any other random things, then you can follow me on my social media. Thank you for visiting! Please feel free to contact me about anything!
